When you graduated from the University of Freiburg, you left with the most up-to-date skills and information in your field of study. Time, however, does not stand still. While you were adapting to your new working and living environment, the university continued to enhance the pool of existing knowledge and to develop it in new directions. Today, lifelong learning has become a way of life, forcing us to constantly update our knowledge and skills. Not to mention, perspectives from other fields of study are enhancing our personal views.
The expertise marketplace established by Alumni Freiburg offers you the opportunity to return to your “old” alma mater to receive “new” skills and to be informed about academic developments in your field of studies. Alternatively, you have the opportunity to present your specific inquiries to researchers and professors in their fields of studies, or even to invite one such person to give a speech at your organisation or at an event.
