The Rektors of the University of Freiburg, Furtwangen University and the president
of the Alumni Club Cameroon cordially invite you to an

in Cameroon
from the 17th to the 21st of November 2008
in Hotel Franco

The scope of this seminar is to present the newest research and findings, as well as
technical applications in the areas of water management, environmental studies and
solar energy. Through this seminar, we hope to strength the interaction and
cooperative work between the scientific community and industrial partners, and
to promote the exchange between Cameroon, Germany and continental Africa. The
Seminar will open with introductions in the areas of waste and wastewater
management. After the introductions, experts in the field will present research
projects, case studies and on the job experiences during a small workshop. The
workshop will also give the participants the opportunity to discuss these issues,
exchange ideas and to work together with experts to devise new strategies for
practical application.

researched, taught or studied at the University of Freiburg, Furtwangen University or

perspective directors and leaders. Participants may apply for financial support to
cover travel and lodging expenses. Please contact the Freiburg Alumni Office to
receive additional information.
Alumni are also invited to attend an alumni meeting with dinner on the 19th of
November 2008. The dinner and seminar are free of charge.
To help us plan the seminar, we kindly ask you to fill out the registration form and to
