Annual study trip to Shakespeare's hometown, Stratford-upon-Avon.

General Information

Since 2003, there has been a study trip to Stratford-upon-Avon every year (except 2007 due to the renovation of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre) to render homage to William Shakespeare. There is always a course program organised by the Birthplace Trust. The program includes preparation sessions and post-performance discussions as well as question and answer sessions (Q&A) with actors (sometimes also assistant directors) of the respective performances. It also always includes a visit to Shakespeare's birthplace. Other interesting sessions (varying from year to year) are 'wigs and makeup', 'document display' or 'voice class'. Below, you will also find a report on the 2006 trip (in German).
