Die geographische Entwicklungsforschung setzt sich mit interdisziplinären und anwendungsbezogenen Aspekten der internationalen Entwicklungszusammenarbeit und Entwicklung sowie den Auswirkungen der Globalisierung auf Entwicklungsländer auseinander. Der Forschungsansatz ist integrativ, problemorientiert und projektbezogen.
