German Cochrane Center

The German Cochrane Center (DCZ = Deutsches Cochrane Zentrum) is the official representative of the international network Cochrane Collaboration (CC) in Germany and a reference centre for the german language area (Germany, Austria, regions in Switzerland, Liechtenstein) as well as contact point for people from Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary being interested in the work of CC. The notification of CC and its relevance in public of the German language area, with a view to improve the tranfer of the achieved findings in health care and thus for the patient information, is a significant major task. As one of the twelve Cochrane Centers worldwide it is also responsible for the assistance and coordination of activities of the Cochrane Collaboration.
