Research
We investigate the synthesis, self-assembly and function of conjugated materials for the use in sensors and opto-electronic devices. Particular focus is on:
- New catalysts for transition-metal catalyzed polymerizations of conjugated polymers
- Novel electron-accepting conjugated polymers
- Structure formation in semi-crystalline conjugated polymers
- Compatibilizing all-conjugated polymer blends
- Mechanochromic polymers for sensors
