01.07.2006: Central inert gases distribution system installed…!
A new central inert gas distribution system for delivery of Argon in 5.0 quality to each hood has been installed. This reduces the safety hazards associated with having the inert gas bottles next to the hoods.
11.04.2006: Reactive gases and fluorine fume hood installed…!
The new fume hood for working under extreme conditions like with elemental fluorine installed. The hood has an HF washer and a stripping system for organic contaminations and confirms with latest safety technology.
07.03.2006: New Glove Boxes installed…!
Two new Braun glove boxes for working safely under inert conditions installed.
22.02.2006: Equipment arrived…!
On February 22nd 2006 the scientific equipment of our group arrived from Lausanne in Freiburg. The next weeks are dedicated to a construction phase for the installment of the scientific equipment. From end of March on we expect to back to do serious science…!
