Benjamin Blankertz new Professor at BFNT Berlin

Benjamin Blankertz (BFNT and TU Berlin) has assumed the W3 professorship „Neurotechnology“ at Technische Universität Berlin that was established within the Bernstein Focus Neurotechnology with initial funding by BMBF (August 2012).

In 1994, Blankertz received a "diploma" degree with distinction in mathematics from the University of Münster. He completed his PhD studies with Wolfram Pohlers at the same university in 1997. During his postdoctoral period at Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Architecture and Software Technology (FIRST) in Berlin, he became head of the Berlin Brain-Computer Interface Project. Since 2007, Benjamin Blankertz is scientist at TU Berlin.
