Profile
Egecan Hüsemoğlu is a research assistant and lecturer at the Chair of International Relations (Prof. Dr. Sandra Destradi). He studied Political Science at the University of Freiburg, earning his M.A. degree (with distinction) in December 2020. His research, which focuses on the effects of populism on international politics, is undertaken as part of the DFG-funded project "Populism and Foreign Policy." His regional interests lie particularly in Turkey and the broader MENA Region.Academic CV
