Advanced Synthesis Seminar

In this seminar, we will discuss selected recent and classical total syntheses. Each course session starts with a mechanistic problem that will be solved on the blackboard. Then the retrosynthesis and forward synthesis will be discussed in detail.

Past Targets of the Advanced Synthesis Seminar (2010–2019)

Organic Radical Chemistry

An up-to-date course on organic radical reactions covering classical free radical reactions (tin-method and related) and modern concepts (catalyst-control, photoredox chemistry etc.)

A course syllabus is available for download.
