The Baden-Württemberg Foundation, the Joachim Herz Foundation, and the Stifterverband for German Science and Research have selected Prof. Dr. Bernd Becker, Department of Computer Science of the University of Freiburg, to receive a Fellowship for Innovation in Instruction.
First Collaborative Research Center (SFB) at IMTEK
Five laboratories of IMTEK contribute to the SFB/Transregio “Planar Optronic Systems,” which will be distributed among several locations. It will receive a total of 9.8 million euros. The German Research Foundation (DFG) announced the decision on Novmeber, 21 in Bonn.

News, events, projects, people: this and much more you can find on the re-launched website www.imtek.uni-freiburg.de of the Department of Microsystems Engineering. We have chosen a new structure, kicked out some information here, added new content there – all in accordance with the university's corporate design. New functionalities have improved the access to information, such as the search by key words in order to learn about research projects at IMTEK.
