Partners in Baden-Wuerttemberg

Transinterpret precursor: The Southern Black Forest

Baden-Wuerttemberg was the starting point of Transinterpret. Preliminaly works already started in the Southern Black Forest in the programm LEADER II in cooperation with the university of Freiburg. In the years 2000 and 2001, the first database with practical recommendations for heritage interpretation was established and tested.

The results were very encouraging. Evaluations of the Belchen project showed, that recommendations leaded to successful offers for visitors. However, it was also indicated that the approach had to be amended by personal monitoring of the projects.

Two new partners in LEADER+

With the support of the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg, two other LEADER-areas could join the network in the new LEADER-period: the Northern Black Forest and Hohenlohe-Tauber. The corporate competence center is responsible for the on-site monitoring and the awarding of the Quality Label in all the LEADER-regions.
